Kaiser Family Foundation Health Reform
This health reform portal delivers comprehensive news, research and analysis from the Kaiser Family Foundation, a respected nonprofit whose mission is to serve as a nonpartisan source for policymakers, the media, the health care community and the public. Here you’ll find a timeline of key reform milestones, updates on the status of reform in all 50 states and even a premium subsidy calculator.
This website includes details about the development of Minnesota’s health insurance exchange, MNsure, and how it will affect individuals and families, small businesses, agents and brokers, health plans and others. The site includes a small business tax credit calculator. You can also register to receive regular email updates from the Minnesota health insurance exchange. Enrollment begins October 2013. Plan coverage starts January 1, 2014.
My Healthcare Future
This website provides an interactive tool to help businesses and individuals better understand how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) will affect them personally. It was developed by a coalition of Minnesota organizations, including the Minnesota Council of Health Plans, the Children’s Defense Fund-Minnesota, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and other nonprofits.
